AN INDIAN CELEBRITY IN ENGLAND
BY Israel Jayakaran
She was in the world of films. For how long, one wouldn’t know without some research ! She is reasonably pretty, but prettiness isn’t the only criterion to get a role in a film. Indian cinema is a highly competitive business and one can’t enter into it like you walk into a room.

Masterpiece Mixtape - Thrown Away
BY Steven Lochran
This week, we look at the mega-band that never was (but still might be): VAST. Chances are you've heard the music of Jon Crosby. Chances are you also have no idea who he is. Crosby is the driving force behind the critically-lauded, popularly-ignored industrial rock band VAST. I call VAST an industrial rock group for lack of a better term.

Talent Found Out West

Shauna Burn's "Every Thought" could have quite a future, if perhaps the singing were a tad different. A look at Singaporean music scene
BY Kristiano Ang
Singapore rock, for the hardcore scenester is largely disappointing, for like a Frank Kafka novel (whilst lacking the literary polish), it’s a perennial case almost there. The most telling example would of local punk pop band Pug Jelly who after the heights of opening before Canadian rock princess Avril Lavigne and her fiancé, Derek Whibley’s Sum 41, almost faded into the obscurity of the indie punk scene.

Outlook on Society Today
Outlook on Society Today
In today’s world, society has already far surpassed the limits and boundaries of international borders. Like a wildfire sweeping up and surging past everything before it, the definition of society today encompasses not only the regional sphere, but also the global arena. In the world of today, where information of just about everything is within reach of the public domain, information overload is an almost usual occurrence. There is so much information available within anyone’s grasp with just a short trip into cyberspace. Unfortunately though, the current outlook on society in near-future is a rather bleak one, as opposed to the commonly held fallacy that humanity is currently at its Golden Age.
