Dead Zones - where marine life is not supported No, this is not a spiel for a zombie horror movie, but an actual event, causing the deaths of marine creatures and destabilising ecosystems on a grand scale.
Dead Zones have been discovered worldwide in 146 locations. Places as diverse as the coasts of China, the Baltic Sea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
They occur in temperate waters and range in size from small areas of bays to vast regions, such as in the Baltic Sea, of 100,000 square kilometres.

Colour of Death The silence of death helps man survive. Being an excruciating reality, so closely associated with every walk of life, man has no choice but to accept the decree of death. It isnt really true that people dread the system; it is often the mode that haunts. |

Life After Death Life after death is an eternal life.
The life that we will never find the death anymore.
It is different life from the life in the world.

Fingers When he woke, tiny fingers of light were just beginning to wander through the curtains. These fingers moved playfully... teasingly? across the room, shifting, disappearing and jumping back into the room as the leaves of the trees outside of the window danced in the gentle morning breeze. He looked at the lights, watching as though they were created for his sole entertainment. |

Dysthymia, Depression and Epilepsy Dysthymic disorder is a chronic form of depression. Although it is milder than other types of depression, including manic depressive disorder, it is still a serious mental illness. This is one accout of a person, who was also recently diagnosed with having a form of epilepsy, and their time with the illness before seeking treatment. |

Islam is not Moslem Often non-moslem people judge moslem people as a bad people, like terrorist, brutal, etc. The judgment influences their thinking about Islam itself that Islam is a bad religion. They see the moslem, but have they seen Islam? |

Solvent Abuse Deadlier than Ecstasy Imagine a drug that can, potentially, be as dangerous as heroin and cocaine. Imagine that drug being legal. Now imagine that 10% of 14 to 18 year olds are, or have, misused this drug and that one-person dies every week in the United Kingdom alone due to the effects of abusing this drug. These are not street drugs, the average home has 30 kitchen and bathroom products that can be abused, and it is the very fact that all of these substances are legal and have legitimate uses that allows abuser to maintain that they are doing little wrong. Glue sniffing and solvent abuse therefore refers to the deliberate inhalation of volatile solvents. |

Lord Winterborne's Fantasy Historic fiction is another love of mine, so this week I will be reviewing the Richard Sharpe series by Bernard Cornwell. These novels are set mainly during the Napoleonic Wars, and each tome is a fast-paced adventure with non-stop, hard-hitting action. (Damnit, I just used up all the best clichs.) Bernard Cornwell a.k.a. Corny, or the Cornster is the grandmaster of battlefield action. |

Autoimmune Disease Our immune systems are geared to fight invading organisms that could otherwise harm us. Bacteria, viruses and parasites are often dealt with in short order. Many organisms that could make us ill are destroyed by our immune systems before we even know they are attacking us. |
