Review: Viagogo.com helping to bring together ticket buyers and sellers

Viagogo is a nice portal that helps to bring together ticket buyers and sellers. They are the middleman for concert tickets, tickets for sports events as well as arts and theatre tickets.

Masterpiece Cinema - Last Night

Holla, hombres. Last time, I said that this week’s column would consist of ‘love in the time of movie monster prosthetics’. Well, it seems I lied. Unfortunately, events have conspired to keep me from writing an article for the intended film, so what we’re going to do is take another look into the Masterpiece Cinema archives, with this searing exploration of Don McKellar’s Last Night. What, you’ve never heard of it? Well, read on, gentle net surfer, read on…

Alien Abduction - Disturbing. Confusing. Coming...Soon!

It's coming soon, folks, and you just might wish it wouldn't.

Masterpiece Cinema - Coldblooded

Hi, everybody. A short and sweet one this week as we take a look at…

Corn -Somewhere, Orville Redenbacher Is Screaming

It's poppin' good, makes sheep insane, and on top of it all, makes for good watching too. You'll never look the same way at the cob again.

LISTEN TO THIS! Waltz for Venus

Extending their musical scope far beyond that which is typical of the Lafayette music scene, Waltz for Venus have made their mark as truly memorable -GarageBand.com

Masterpiece Cinema - Manhunter

Hey, everybody. This week, we’re doing something different. I’m going to discuss a movie that I DON’T recommend. How’s that for a bit of turn around?

Close Your Eyes--A Sterling Example of British Mystery

English mystery--it's like english ale. The best of its kind.

Lethal Eviction - Slumlords Gettin' Theirs!

It's not in video stores until May, but I'm going to sadistically build your interest for it now. You're welcome.

Masterpiece Cinema - Hackers

Hello once again, dear readers. This week, we take a look at a film that was technologically out-dated even when it came out ten years ago. Plus, a bit of news…

Fresh Breeze

Waltz For Venus is a band from Indianapolis. They offer a diffent type of blend!

The Last Horror Movie - Oh, If Only.

It's bloody, it's awful, it's boring...it's awfully bloody boring. It's all things to all people and all of them bad.

Masterpiece Cinema - Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead

Hey, everyone. This week, Masterpiece Cinema is proud to present…a movie that we’ve already presented…wait, what’s that?

Intermedio: Yes, Exactly

It's perfectly titled, folks. "Intermedio" means "In Between" for those of you who don't habla.

Masterpiece Cinema - Ah! My Goddess!

Well, it’s been a good long while since we last dipped our toe into the world of anime. Hold your breath, folks, we’re going back in…

Cheerleader Ninjas: It Really Only Just Sounds Like A Bad Idea

It sounds like a bad idea, and it certainly isn''t the best movie you''ll see this year, but all things considered, you could do a lot worse.

Masterpiece Cinema - Arrested Development

This week, a slight change in format as we make a heartfelt plea from TV land.

INDIE MUSIC: The Bradbury Press/The Front

Finding your way can be a lonely and sad pursuit. We've all been there--some may never leave the relative safety of being lost. It's rare to find music which celebrates this universal search, even as it allows a bit of room for healthy wallowing.

Music Review: Kamil - Warning!

Warning, the first release by young Southern California artist Kamil is... well it's aptly titled. Unfortunately, the warning should further read “USE MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS: Do not attempt to operate large machinery or a vehicle while under the influence of this EP”.

Reel Advice from the Video Store Guy

When the only thing separating a movie from utter unoriginality is a second snake, it's time to find a different movie.

Masterpiece Cinema - Velvet Goldmine

Good evening, everyone, or morning, or afternoon, or whatever time it might be when you happen to be enjoying this article. Let's do it, shall we?

Shaun of the Dead--Ale and Zombies

A romantic action comedy...with zombies! Seriously.

Vernon Neilly and G-Fire

It is artist like Vernon Neilly that makes being a music reviewer a very cool job. Vernon and G-Fire combine the lush sounds of silky smooth jazz with the melodic grooves of the islands.

Masterpiece Cinema - Can't Hardly Wait

Happy birthday, The Cheers! Hard to believe it's been a year, already, huh? Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing; 'What have I been doing with my life?' Anyway, let's awkwardly seque to a film that has nothing to do with birthdays, shall we? That sounds like a nice way to celebrate this special anniversary issue. ...if I'd known this was going to be the birthday issue, I would have done something special, I promise...

Reel Advice From the Video Store Guy

Drugs, mayhem, and starving psychotic artists. Oh my!

Reel Advice from the Video Store Guy

It's the Blind Ambition tour! And no, it has nothing at ALL to do with Madonna.

Reel Advice From the Video Store Guy

Idle threat? Description of the plot? Perhaps just a taunt. No matter how you slice it, it does indeed bite.

Lord Winterborne's Fantasy

Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" comes to a halt. Book nine was good but has Jordan left readers dissatisfied at the 'Crossroads of Twilight'.

George Lucas Has Gone Soft

What's happened to George Lucas?
