Poem: The Perfect Picture Window

article about Poem: The Perfect Picture Window

The Perfect Picture Window

As I think back to the yesterdays

A time of our beginning

When we were so true

Now, those things are past

I began to shed a tear

Suddenly my heart stops

For a moment I'm not here

In the faze of my rage the window is broken

A million pieces I step on over and over

Blood in tears are flowing

The pain the reality hurts more

Slowly I fall to the floor

Unable to move unbearable pain

I can't breathe it hurts

I look into a broken piece of glass

Able to catch my future

Filled with words, picture, truth, and happiness

My heart beats a slow rhythm

I let out a slow breath, now I have me

Alive again separated from you
