Japan faced 5.6 magnitude earthquake, 59 injured

Earlier today there was an earthquake in southern Japan, the latest hit was 6.11am. 57 people have been reported injured, two of them seriously.

About 280 buldings were damaged by the earthquake. Last bigger earthquake hit Japan March 19, 2005, killing one and injuring about 400 people.

The current earthquake centered about 14km below the ocean and might be just an aftreshock to the previous earthquake.
