Disney World top attractions

article about Disney World top attractions
Orlando, Florida is one of the most popular destinations for tourists. One of the main reasons of course are the amusement parks. The truth is you don't have to be a kid to enjoy them, especially in Orlando. One of the advantages of visiting an established theme park destination like Orlando for your holiday is that it is easy to find good package deals which are a lot cheaper than booking everything separately. You can combine your flight and hotel or even accommodation and car hire deal. If you are looking for a good deal to save some money it is recommended to combine hotel and tickets for the amusement parks. Once you have taken care of that the fun can begin. Attractions in the theme parks in Orlando are so many that you have to pick the most interesting for you and make a plan where you want to go in advance but in Disney World there are some attractions that should not be missed no matter what your plan is.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
The ride lasts just over a minute but is definitely one of the wildest in the park. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster will charm not only the music fans but also those who love the thrill. The coaster accelerates from 0 to 57 miles per hour in less than 3 second and the riders experience 4.5g.

Pirates of the Caribbean
This is one of the most visited attractions in the park but it is designed to move the lines in a hurry so don't worry. It is a pirate themed indoor boat ride and lasts at about 7 minutes during which you can feel like Captain Jack Sparrow and rule the seas.

Expedition Everest
This is a high-speed ride through a mountain village in Nepal that lasts more than 3 minutes. It is themed around Yeti hiding in the Mount Everest. It took 6 years and $100 million to build Expedition Everest making it the most expensive roller coaster in the world.

Tower of Terror
This thrill ride is one of the most visited attractions in Disney World. According to the story you enter in a ruined Hollywood hotel. The ride is based on the TV show The Twilight Zone. It is the second tallest attraction in the park after Expedition Everest and the ride lasts about 4 minutes.

Space Mountain
This is a speed journey in the outer space in the form of a roller coaster. The ride is extra exciting because it is in the dark with lightning and effects. It lasts 3 minutes. Since its opening in 1975 Space Mountain has been one of the most visited attractions in the park.

Big Thunder Mountain railroad
This is an attraction that can be found in all of the Disney Parks around the world and the reason for that is it's super fun. The ride is based on the gold digging in America Southwest during the 19th century and lasts 3 ½ minutes. The Railroad emphasizes on the sights and not so much on the thrill but don't underestimate the Thunder Mountain.

Splash Mountain
This is a water-flume style attraction based on the Disney film Song of the South. It lasts 10 minutes and you have to be prepared to wait a bit longer but it is totally worth it. A good advice here is to get on the lines as soon as the park opens because later you will have to wait more. That is of course if you don't have a Fastpass.

Kali River Rapids
This is an adventurous river raft ride and is among the favorites for people who love water attractions. The ride lasts 5 minutes and emphasizes on the sights. You will witness rain forest, temple ruins, waterfalls and geysers.
