Australian study shows red wine bad for health
In a recent research study, Renate Zilkens of the University of Western Australia stated that "A positive relationship between alcohol consumption and blood pressure is well established, but the relative effect of specific alcoholic beverages is controversial."
Some drinkers think that red wine is good for you. Not so. It appears it can raise the blood pressure as much as beer. It also seems that beer increases the sleeping heart rate by 5 beats per minute and wine by more than 4.
