'The Witches' star - who can soon be seen starring alongside Patricia Arquette in supernatural drama 'Medium' - thinks many women have a "modest sixth sense".
She said: "I find it psychic things very fascinating. I don't want to sound like a page out of National Enquirer magazine, but I have some psychic powers of my own - a modest sixth sense if you will.
"I think a lot of women have it, certainly not an acute gift, but we have got it! We weren't burned at the stake for nothing!"
Anjelica also revealed she has turned to TV work because, at 56, she is getting too old to star in movies.
She added to tvguide.com: "One doesn't want to become a dinosaur! To rely on movie work these days - especially if you're an actress over the magic age of 40 - is to rely on something quite flimsy.
"There are some really remarkable people are working in TV these days. Just look at Glenn Close absolutely rocking in that law drama 'Damages'!"
