Sometimes life is happy,

Sometimes life is sad,

Sometimes it is all black,

Sometimes...

The struggle-

Between all emotions that can be experienced,

Is a struggle within oneself.

A never-ending surfacing and plunge.

Sometimes it's a choke-

Just under the bottleneck,

Before one can squeeze out,

And be free.

Other times- it's in an open space,

But somehow-

However big the space is-

There is a refusal to move: static.

One can die-

But one can also live,

In struggle or in an open space,

It is simply a matter of perception.

Indeed- strangely,

The perception of life.

May determine its outcome,
