About a kingdom on a mountain,

And the valley folk below,

On the mountain was a treasure,

Buried deep beneath a stone,

And the valley folk swore,

They'd have it for their very own.

Go ahead and hate your neighbor,

Go ahead and cheat a friend,

Do it in the name of Heaven,

You can justify it in the end.

There won't be any trumpets blowing,

On the judgment day,

On the bloody morning after,

One tin soldier rides away.

This is an age-old song. And it delves through the ages of history to a kingdom.

There was this king of the kingdom who was wise and just. However, there was a problem: he had only one daughter.

This daughter was not so beautiful but intelligent. She was quite a cheery girl, but unwise to the ways of the world.

There was a magician who served as the court advisor. He had a son who was quite handsome, too.

"Go and court the princess. Take this green eye and it will help you capture her heart. Then we will kill the king and seize the throne."

And so they went out on dates (funny thing: the princess likes eating dates), and they had the wooing process. He did many magic tricks to show her, and what she loved most were butterflies. Seeing her awed by this insect, he did many magical tricks with this beautiful, flitter-winged creature.

The princess was mesmerized. And so the dates continued ...
