Nissan has lead the way in mid-sized sedans with their original Nissan Altima for some time now. This summer they are coming out with Nissan Altima 2013 with the starting sale price of $21,500. The new Altima comes in seven different models with two engine options - 182-horsepower four-cylinder 2.5l motor and 270-horsepower 3.5l V6. Both engines come with Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) that has turned Nissan Altima 2013 fuel economy for the four-cylinder motor to 38 mpg on highway and V6 to 30 mpg on highway. These numbers make Altima the best in the segment.

"In a segment as critical as this, with longtime nameplates and new challengers fighting for every sale, it's not enough to just target the competition. You have to think outside – and far above – the segment," said Brian Carolin, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing, Nissan North America, Inc. Nissan' goal is to create a customer experience that is unmatched in the segment.

Altima comes with Easy Fill Tire Alert, next-generation Safety Shield Technologies like Blind Spot Warning and Lane Departure Warning. And all that combined with the premium interior design with new NASA-inspired "zero-gravity" front seats.

Visit Nissan's exhibits at Jacob Javits Center during the 2012 New York International Auto Show from April 6-15, 2012.
