Life for sale    2008-03-25 10:44:51

A British man has put his entire life for sale on eBay after his marriage failed.
Ian Usher, 44, from Scarborough - who emigrated to Australia in 2006 - has decided to put his three-bedroom house, car, job and all his possessions up for sale on the online bidding site after splitting from wife Laura last year.

He said: "My life here is absolutely fantastic, but I just want to make a clean break and start again. My aim is to walk away at the end of the auction with my wallet and my passport, go to the airport and just jump on a plane."

The winner of the auction, which starts at just one Australian dollar, will also have access to Usher's friends and job.
