London, Dec 2 : A new technical innovation is helping a family to search the toddler, who was snatched from them 26 years ago.
A new technical innovation is helping a family to search the toddler, who was snatched from them 26 years ago.

A charity called Missing People has produced an image as to how the girl might look today, through a digital ageing technique.

The image has been released to mark the girl's 28th birthday.

Katrice Lee vanished on a shopping trip in 1981 at the age of two when the family was visiting a Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes shopping complex in Schloss Neuhaus, near their home.

They feel it is possible that she may still be in Germany, where they were living at the time.

Katrice's sister Natasha, 33, from Gosport, Hants hopes that they may get some information about Katrice through this image.
"We hope that this new age progression may lead to someone providing information that will give us the answers that we desperately seek," the Telegraph quoted Natasha as saying.

"I don't think she is dead, but I realise she might be. There is just no way of knowing. I believe that Katrice was taken for another family, possibly because they couldn't have children.

"I think she might be living another life," she added. (ANI)
