Who needs healthcare in a "Christian nation"? This is a "Christian nation" -- so they say. This saviour Jesus Christ has the power to heal. Not only that, he has the power to grant immortality. That's their hook, that's their sales pitch. John 3:16, and all that!

Christians are immortal. Through Jesus Christ they have eternal life. Why, why, WHY should immortal beings need medical care, for any reason, EVER?

Obviously, they really DON'T BELIEVE their own bullshit. People SAY they believe this stuff, but they sure don't ACT like it. Their actions don't match their words- their behaviour says otherwise. They claim to believe in Heaven….but they'll do anything and everything in order to postpone THAT trip! To quote my favourite comedian, Doug Stanhope: "If you really believe that death leads to eternal bliss, then why are you wearing a seatbelt?"

Sorry folks, you can't have it both ways. You can't say, "It's in God's hands" unless you're actually willing to LEAVE IT THERE.

If you get cancer, then obviously God is ready for you to die. Couldn't that be any more clear, or does he have to send a bus to run over you? Not only does he want you to die, but he wants you to suffer horribly. If you really believe that God and God alone decides who dies when, then you are actually defying him by trying to prolong your life.

Your behaviour gives you away, your actions reveal the truth behind the lie. You're all a bunch of lying hypocrites. Except for the Christian scientists. Those people put their money where their mouths are. They REALLY DO TRUST THEIR GOD enough to put their LIFE IN HIS HANDS. They are at least consistent, and not hypocrites like 99% of people are.

So here is my proposal for health care reform. The Christians can start practising what they preach, and "walking the walk" instead of just "talking the talk." They can put their money where their mouth is, and ask their Savior to heal them, or else wait for the Lord to take them to Heaven.

That leaves more resources for the rest of us who believe in Medical SCIENCE.

Problem solved !
