Review: Viagogo.com helping to bring together ticket buyers and sellers

Viagogo is a nice portal that helps to bring together ticket buyers and sellers. They are the middleman for concert tickets, tickets for sports events as well as arts and theatre tickets.

It’s an online ticket exchange where you can buy and sell live event tickets in a safe and guaranteed way, at least according to claims – which seem to be true.

Are you looking for a sold-out ticket for a Counting Crows concert on 8^th July? No problem, they have it. Of course, the price might be higher than the face value but then again, you still do get the ticket you wouldn’t have got otherwise.

Or maybe you’re interested in a Madonna VIP ticket – for the right amount it’s possible. You get a Hot Ticket Package - Gold Circle – for £238.

Viagogo is also the official secondary ticketing partner for Man U and Chelsea FC. To buy or sell a ticket on their site, all you need to do is register an account, and of course, it’s free.

I’m myself not a real fan of huge concerts or even live football matches. However, when I do decide to go somewhere, it’s always just days before the event and it might be rather difficult to get tickets at that time anymore. Fortunately, Viagogo has made it possible. True, they’re not the only one in the business; at least I would think they aren’t. But their website is

Can you remember the times when you had to stand in line for hours or days to go to “that” concert? Can you? Well, I definitely can, because it’s still happening. I can’t understand why though, considering everything can be done in the internet. Viagogo is a good example of that.

Summer is the happening time for all those great festivals like Summer Swing, The Big Chill, Sziget Festival – the last one of those is definitely my favorite.

But when talking about UK festivals then most likely you’d be interested in Reading Festival Tickets  (or Leeds Festival Tickets – as the name of the festival is Reading & Leeds festival 2008 ) to go to listen to great names like The Killers, Metallica and Rage Against the Machine.
