Melbourne, Jan 05 : Brandon Routh may no longer be the Man of Steel, say reports.
The actor played the role made famous by Christopher Reeve in the 2006 film 'Superman Returns'.
According to Latino Review, now that director Bryan Singer has opted out of the film, chances are that bosses will not only be looking for someone new to helm the pic, but also a new lead actor as well, reports Moviehole.
As for who will take on the superhero's cape and costume in the new pic 'Man of Steel', the reports suggest that the actor who is cast in the role in the forthcoming "Justice League" will be the one who does so in the new movie.
'Superman Returns' grossed 200 million dollars at the American Box Office in 2006, prompting Warner Bros. to give the go ahead for a sequel. (ANI)
