For this year's hurricane season 18 named storms have been predicted by the storm prediction gurus of Colorado State University. Last year's season was one of the most active ones with third-most named storms on record. Whether they influenced us personally or not, all of us have heard enough about hurricanes Sandy and Isaac. All together last year's Atlantic storms caused over $70 billion in damage and killed hundreds of people. The worst one was definitely hurricane Sandy that caused damages worth over $68 billion and killed 285 people.

This hurricane season's first storm was Andrea that made 1000 people flee their homes. However, this was just the first one. As weather forecasters are predicting 18 named storms, 9 hurricanes, and 4 major hurricanes. It is estimated that there's 72% chance that there will be at least one major hurricane this season in US.

The names for the 18 storms have been decided on already and they include Humberto, Ingrid, Olga, Bary, Chantal, Erin, Melissa, Tanya, Pablo and others.

Six kinds of dreams
2013 Atlantic hurricane season: 18 storms predicted

All of us, without exception, go through the experience of dreaming, but how many understand how we dream or why we dream and, even what we dream? We all pass through innumerable experiences, but fail to understand them or learn from them.

Studying tips for students

School teaches a lot. Maybe not everything we need to know, but it gives us a lot. No doubt about that. But schools tend to fail in teaching the one very important topic, the one that students need to learn before anything else.

In Trust I Trust

I don’t want to die. In fact, as I grow older, I take great steps to increase my lifespan on this rock. I try to exercise, eat a low-fat diet void of red meat, and consume copious amounts of baby aspirin, vitamins, fish oil, glucosamine, along with a few extra large green teas to wash it all down.

Leadership and its challenges

Leaders..Yeah! We hate them. But be a leader yourself and you'll find its a tough job!!

All Females are Amma here

The title “dear” is very common in the West according to my knowledge. Possibly it is used mostly for ladies; ladies well known to you for that matter, and not for every one.
