Ben Affleck is going to try out a new position for him. He's set to make his directorial debut with a movie called "Gone, Baby, Gone". This a thriller written by Dennis Lehane. The story talks about two Boston detectives who are investigating the kidnapping of a child.

Ben's career as an actor has been rather good with movies like Armageddon and Pearl Harbor. However, the last two years haven't really been too successful for him - not many people have seen his latest movies like Paycheck, Gigly and Jersey Girl.

"Gone, Baby, Gone" will be stricly work of a director for Ben Affleck, he will not be starring in his new film himself.
