Russian perspective
Is it really our fault that our country goes from Europe to the Bering Sea? Do you think it's so easy to live in such a big country? Can you image the costs of moving from one place to the other?

It's not like we attacked the Georgians, but we simply wanted to have a closer feeling over their seaside resorts.
"
In the end, we like the Georgians and we wanted to feel closer to them. Much closer to them.
We also wanted to give an extra incentive for some of our troops and offer them a free trip to Tbilisi, but we decided they are already making enough on their allowances and that they already had the privilege of seeing the Caucasus from both sides. In the end, we like the Georgians and we wanted to feel closer to them. Much closer to them.

Talk about a bear hug – that's what we offer and we'd like to give that around as much as possible. For some reason or other, people don't like bear hugs. Why not – bears are fluffy and huggable and they can dance if you talk nicely to them. God knows, we've been dancing throughout the 1990s to every sort of music we heard. We danced on the NATO expansion tune, classical combination of expansive clarinets and debatable trombones. We've danced with our president Boris the Bear throughout the world, but for some reason, we don't want to dance any more. Time to make others dance!

A few words from The Cheers
It is hard writing about these facts of maximum importance in a humorous mood and touch on our goal of presenting intelligent things with a humorous tone (or was it humorous things with an intelligent tone?).

The thing is that we were all really worried during the conflict because, for many of us, the memories of the Cold War are still significantly vivid and many were keen to point out that this is a return to those times. It is not.
"
One should probably try more the cooperative approach.
As we have seen, things have started to cool down and the rhetoric about the fact that this is just the beginning have died down significantly. Russia has had a constructive approach in the Republic of Moldova and will probably continue to sit down for dialogue, even if it walked out on the talks in Geneva. One should probably try more the cooperative approach.

Georgian side
If you see blood on the floor it is because the bear paw we received simply smashed our noses. No, it's not good Georgian wine, we wouldn't like to spoil that. The class bully simply picked on us, good students, and we have let the class teachers know about it.

Is it so hard to understand that we want to play with other kids as well instead of hanging around the bear all the time? It shouldn't be. We've made friends with Ukraine and want to go together to a summer school, where we can study how to go on to Brussels University.

Our parents are supportive and have raised the money we need for our scholarship. But now they have been called to school, because some have said we provoked the bear as well and that it slapped us because our class leader was too impetuous. Our parents have increased our scholarship, but will that be enough for us to get a passing grade and move on to the university?
