Olivia Newton-John has reportedly hired a private investigator to track down her missing partner Patrick McDermott, who went missing two months ago.
The American cameraman vanished during an overnight fishing expedition off California's San Pedro coastline between June 30 and July 1. Although the boat and all its crew returned to land, all that remained of McDermott was his personal possessions, including a fishing rod.
However, the news only hit the media over the weekend, with Newton-John releasing a statement appealing for anyone with information to come forward to authorities.
Australian newspaper sources claim Newton-John has hired investigator Gavin DeBecker to assist in the search for McDermott.
