Talk show host Oprah Winfrey has topped the new 2005 Forbes magazine Celebrity 100 list. The annual Forbes list ranks celebrities according to their power, salaries and media presence. Oprah was a clear choice to top the list, as her show is one of the highest rating in the world. She earned $225 million in the last 12 months.
Golfer Tiger Woods came in second, with Mel Gibson (last years number one) in third place. George Lucas (who wasn't on the list last year) was at number four and Shaquille O'Neal at five. Other stars in the top ten were Steven Spielberg, Johnny Depp, Madonna, Sir Elton John and Tom Cruise.
