The executive producer of "60 Minutes Wednesday", Josh Howard resigned from CBS News on Tuesday. No details about his resignation have been released.

Howard's first show in CBS News included the report on president Bush's military service record. Josh Howard worked with CBS News for more than 20 years in many different roles, the latest one being executive producer of "60 Minutes Wednesday".

Howard was one of the CBS News executives who was asked to resign in January due to poor judgement in using documents about the story of Sept. 8. The story said that Bush received favored treatment in the Texas Air National Guard in 1970's. The other executives who were involved with it resigned already several weeks ago.
