Do you consider your skills in graphics design better than just good? Or maybe you consider your drawing skills above average? Or maybe your drawing and computer graphics design skills are somehere in the "okay" range, but you simply feel you have extremely good ideas for the posters?
If any of that applies, you might want to take part of poster design competitions. More specifically, the ninth annual Poster Design Competition launched by Art Institutes and Americans for the Arts. The competition's theme is "You Can Create Tomorrow" and the submissions for the competition are accepted until February 3, 2012. In order to be eligible for taking part of the competition, you need to be either high school senior or high school graduate and either from U.S, Canada or Puerto Rico.
The winners will have the chance to win up to one full year scholarship for studying at one of The Art Institutes 45 schools.
