Pak Taliban warn women to wear burqa or face consequences
Lahore, June 23 (ANI): Pakistan's unit of the Taliban has reportedly warned the women in Mohmand Agency to wear burqas, or face dire consequences.
The TTP (Tehrik-e-Taliban of Pakistan) pasted posters mentioning the warning in various parts of the Agency, the Daily Times reported.
The warning contained in the posters asked women not to work in the fields and prohibit them from attending marriage ceremonies and visiting doctors and markets without a male escort.
