
Supreme Court stays death sentence of Mumbai blasts convict

New Delhi, May 12 (ANI): The execution of a death sentence awarded to Abdul Ghani Isma Turk in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case was stayed by the Supreme Court on Monday.
A Bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishanan issued notice to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after admitting Turk's appeal against his conviction and death penalty by Mumbai TADA Court.
