Liza Minnelli resumes British tour following visa wrangle
London, May 26 (ANI): Veteran singer/actress Liza Minnelli was almost forced to scrap a series of concerts in the U.K. after immigration officials refused her entry into the country.
The 62-year-old was stopped shortly after arriving at London's Heathrow airport and questioned over her work visa.
Minnelli, who is performing three nights at the Coliseum in London, followed by dates in Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow, was subsequently denied entry after officials revealed she did not have the requisite work permit to perform in the U.K.continue reading
