Brit blokes' sense of humour sure makes them go places. According to a new survey, the fellas are the best in Europe at getting girls into bed because they make them laugh.

In fact, just because of their sense of humour, young Britons get more lucky than their Italians, French, Spanish or Germans counterparts.

But men and women from the UK are also the easiest to get between the sheets, according to a study on European sex habits, even though they were rated only slightly less attractive than the Germans.

According to DatingDirect.com, Germans were voted the coldest, least attractive and least likely to score in the bedroom, although they are the most cultured.

The French are most adventurous under the covers, the Italians are seen as the best-looking and the Spanish as the friendliest.

Around 1,000 people from each of the five countries rated other nationalities on qualities such as attractiveness, sense of humour, "easiness", open-mindedness and friendliness.

"The results were actually quite predictable. The French - who are known as arrogant - put themselves at the top of every single category. It shows stereotypes are there for a reason," The Daily Star quoted Katie Mowe, marketing manager of DatingDirect.com, as saying.

"The British also put themselves top of most categories, showing we are not exactly lacking in self-confidence, either. But Germans didn't come out of it very well at all," Mowe added. (ANI)
