Prince Harry is reportedly furious after candid snaps of him at his cousin Peter Phillips' wedding were splashed all over a celebrity magazine.

The 23-year-old had no clue that a photog at the reception after Phillips's marriage was from Hello! magazine.

He feels "stitched up" after 18 photos of him appeared in the magazine that hit the shelves on May 21- with 58 pages devoted to the wedding of Peter and Canadian Autumn Kelly.

A senior Royal source said Harry was aware that the couple had a deal with Hello! to take pictures.

But it was never made clear that this would include informal shots taken while he and other guests relaxed at the evening bash.

The source said "at no point was approval sought or given" to the photographer for pictures of Harry.

The Queen is said to have been "aware" of Peter and Autumn's 500,000 pounds deal.

But on the night of May 21 there were serious doubts that she realized there would be so much coverage, including about ten pictures of herself.

It is also not clear whether the royals knew a Hello! photographer would be taking pictures from the balcony of St George's Chapel, Windsor, during the wedding ceremony.

But the chief concern of Harry and brother William, 25, is the way their girlfriends Kate Middleton and Chelsy Davy were splashed all over Hello!

According to sources, the Princes are horrified at how the glossy magazine's royal wedding edition "turned into the Kate and Chelsy show".

"Peter is a very popular member of the Royal Family. William and Harry are very fond of him," The Sun quoted the source, as saying.

"However, what seemed to have been a clever way to raise some money has sensationally backfired.

"There is no way that Princes William and Harry would have agreed to allow their girlfriends to be pictured in this way at what was supposed to be a private family event," the source added.

Another source said: "The fear is that this whole tacky episode makes it look as though the Royals have behaved no better than a bunch of footballers wives."

Hello! editor Kay Goddard said: "The photographs were done with the greatest respect. We have not received a single complaint from any member of the Royal Family." (ANI)
