Even before foreign ministers of India and Pakistan meet next month to resume the composite dialogue process, top intelligence officials of the two nations will exchange notes in Islamabad on Thursday on strengthening co-operation against terror. New Delhi, in this regard, may informally share leads on Pakistani links partularly in the state of Kashmir Intelligence Bureau chief P C Halder, who will be in Islamabad on April 17 for the 7th Saarc conference on co-operation in police matters, is expected to meet his Pakistani counterpart on the sidelines to discuss strengthening of the intelligence-sharing mechanism between the two countries on terror and related issues Among the likely agenda of the Saarc meet on police co-operation are taking forward the deliberations on the proposal for an Interpol-like agency for Saarc nationsThis will be first high level interaction between the two countries after the new democratically elected government took over in Pakistan last month.Khalid Jehangir, The Cheers News
