The head of All Parties Hurriyat Conferencefs Gilani group, Syed Ali Shah Gilani has welcomed statement from Pakistan Peoples Party Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in which he termed Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan as a core dispute.
In a telephonic address to the Muslim Community Syed Ali Shah Gilani said Zardarifs statement was encouraging.
Gilani said he met PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif in Jeddah in 2006, and in the meeting Nawaz Sharif reiterated his stance to stand by the cause of Kashmiri people and their right of self-determination.
Gilani said Kashmiri people were concerned about the internal situation of Pakistan since they had high hopes from it.Khalid Jehangir, The Cheers News
