A A US woman wasted away after refusing to leave her boyfriend's toilet for two years.
  The 35-year-old was given food and water by her boyfriend, who asked her everyday whether she was coming out of the bathroom but received the reply 'Maybe tomorrow'. When he eventually called the police they found her with skin growing around the toilet seat and wasting away legs. Despite initially refusing to leave, the woman was eventually persuaded to go to the local hospital in Ness City, Kansas, where the seat was surgically removed. Sheriff Bryan Whipple said: "She was not glued. She was not tied. She was just stuck by her body."
