A A cornflake resembling the US state of Illinois is going for £100,000 on eBay.
  'The Great Illinois Corn Flake' was posted on the internet auction site by two sisters, one of which said she almost ate the piece of cereal before realising its potential. Emily McIntire, 15, from Chesapeake, Virginia, said: "It was almost to my mouth, it didn't look like Illinois at first because it was held the wrong way. But then I noticed it and said, 'Oh my goodness, it's Illinois.' " Emily's 23-year-old sister Melissa said the girls' parents had suggested selling the cornflake, adding they would put the proceeds towards buying more cereal.
