New Delhi, July 4 : In the series of secret political parleys since morning over the Indo-US nuclear deal, Congress president Sonia Gandhi met External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Defence Minister A K Antony here this morning.

In the series of secret political parleys since morning over the Indo-US nuclear deal, Congress president Sonia Gandhi met External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Defence Minister A K Antony here this morning.

During the meeting, they are understood to have discussed political developments.

The meeting, which was held at Sonia's residence, lasted for an hour. enior party leader and AICC general secretary Ahmed Patel was present during the meeting.

The Indo-US nuclear deal, which gives India access to US nuclear fuel and technology would give India more energy alternatives to drive a booming, trillion-dollar economy. (ANI)
