Senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily today said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's views on the Indo US civilian nuclear deal were no different to that of the Congress party.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here, Moily said the Congress shared Dr. Manmohan Singh's stand on all issues, including the nuclear deal, and added that the (PM) did not enjoy a stand-alone position on any issue.

He also informed the media that a party "Chintan Shivir"(Assessment Conclave) would be held in July.
Moily also confirmed that Congress President Sonia Gandhi had met party General Secretaries and told them to prepare for elections this year and next year. He confirmed that a timetable for building the party at all levels in all states was made at the meeting. The loan waiver scheme of Rs 72, 000 crores for farmers was also discussed at the meeting.

Recommendations of the committee headed by Defence Minister A K Antony were also discussed. The committee was formed to suggest measures to strengthen the party in all states in view of the forthcoming elections.
