Models sizzled the ramp on an aircraft to launch a range of international branded perfumes in Mumbai last evening.

UAE based firm, Ajmal International Trading Co., launched its French line of perfumes titled 'Shadow' for the first time in India.

"Everything is special about the perfumes. It has been designed by an international designer. We use lot of essential oils and natural ingredients, that's the specialization. They last longer," said Abdulla Ajmal, Executive Director, Ajmal perfumes.

Model and Bollywood actor Zulfi Sayed also walked the ramp with the perfume bottles in his hands.

"It's quite a different experience. I think it's very rare launch of a perfume, which happens on an aircraft," said Sayed.

Models did a tight ropewalk handling perfumes bottles in exquisite attires designed by fashion designer Nisha Jamval. The fashion show took place on the Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai flight.

Fifty-year-old firm Ajmal whose roots took shape within Indian subcontinent now has a network of over 55 exclusive company owned showrooms across the Middle East.

With a significant presence in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, Ajmal has developed into a powerful brand in the premium perfumery segment. (ANI)
