It was cricket with a difference when TV actors Ayub Khan and Faisal Raza Khan's cricket team Actorletics XI took on the musical combination of Creative Masters XI, comprising of music directors and singers here during a charity match for an old age home.
The match named "Great Innings " was played for the welfare of the aged and contributed a cheque of Rs. 25,000 for their welfare.
The brainchild of Ayub Khan and Faisal, Actorletics XI was formed to combine their passion for cricket with a noble cause.

The players included TV personality and fashion models. Everyone showed enthusiasm during the match and hoped to be a part of such events again in future. The match It also made them enjoy by promoting a good cause.

"TV artistes organized the cricket match. Singers and composers have come together for the old age home and it's a great cause. The match is offering entertainment to us while the drawn sponsors will be help for them (the senior citizens) at least in a small way," said Lalit, one music composer.

"We are trying to work for the senior citizens. We hope to see us a part to work towards charity. We believe that they are an important part aspect of the society and we hope commemorate by playing this match and trying to do something for charity," said Ayub Khan, captain of Actorletics XI.

Meanwhile, the match was won by the Actorletics XI who were set a target of 128 by the Creative Masters XI. The former scored 130 at the loss of 8 wickets with 7 deliveries left to bowl. (ANI)
