The Backstreet Boys are back, and contrary to rumours, they have not been dropped by Jive Records.

Rumours had been going around that, the popular boy band was being dumped by the famous record company, which is not true as told by a Jive spokesperson.

TMZ talked with a Jive Records spokesperson who clarified the rumours.

"Reports about Jive Records dropping Backstreet Boys are completely untrue," TMZ quoted the spokesperson.

"The group is about to embark on a worldwide tour in support of their album, Unbreakable, starting Feb. 16 in Toyko, as well as some high profile television appearances," he added. (ANI)
