Australian promoters have offered a whopping 10 million pounds to the Spice Girls, in an effort to bring the band's comeback tour to their country.

If the band goes for a tour Down Under, the ladies could fetch an extra 2 million pounds each.

The band's 'Greatest Hits' album topped the Australian charts straightaway and the girls have a huge fan base in the country.

"The girls have a massive fan base in Australia and a huge amount of cash is being thrown at them to get them to perform there," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

Sources say that the group might just give 12 dates in March for their performance in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.

"Everyone in Oz has been reading about the show and now they want a piece of the action," added the source.

Meanwhile, the Spice Girls have wrapped up their performances in Canada, the US, Spain and Germany, and are currently busy with a 17-show run at London's O2. (ANI)
