Washington, Dec 31 : Will Smith starrer 'I am Legend' ruled the international box office during the last weekend of 2007, grossing 46.1 million dollars in 25 markets.

Will Smith starrer 'I am Legend' ruled the international box office during the last weekend of 2007, grossing 46.1 million dollars in 25 markets.

The film captured the British box office with a 21.8 million dollars opening, taking over approximately half of the business of the top five films in an opening that was on par with 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring'.

It was followed by Daniel Craig starrer 'Golden Compass', which made 34 million dollars outside the United States.

Disney's 'National Treasure: Book of Secrets' made 21 million dollars in 25 markets, reports Variety magazine.

Disney also made up 20.6 million dollars in 43 markets through 'Enchanted', giving the family-aimed fantasy a foreign total of 110.7 million dollars.

Wrapping up the top five was 'Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem', which made 15.9 million dollars in 20 markets.

Top earners at the International box-office at the last week of 2007:

1. Will Smith starrer 'I am Legend' with 46.1 million dollars

2. Daniel Craig starrer 'Golden Compass' with 34 million dollars

3. 'National Treasure: Book of Secrets' with 21 million dollars

4. 'Enchanted' with 20.6 million dollars

5. 'Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem' with 15.9 million dollars (ANI)
