The Hollywood actor stars alongside seven-year-old Willow in ¡®I Am Legend¡¯, and revealed the experience left him ¡°bursting with pride¡±.
Speaking at the film¡¯s UK premiere at London¡¯s Odeon cinema in Leicester Square last night (19.12.07), Will told BANG Showbiz: ¡°It was beautiful working with my daughter on this movie and wonderful to have her play my on screen daughter.
¡°She¡¯s very into acting and performing, so any time your kids want to do what you want to do it¡¯s a great experience as a parent.
¡°I was just bursting with pride most of the time she was on set.¡±
Will ¨C who starred with his nine-year-old son Jaden in last year¡¯s ¡®The Pursuit of Happyness¡¯ - spent 30 minutes greeting hundreds of screaming fans, signing autographs and posing for pictures on the red carpet.
The actor appeared on a balcony before entering the film¡¯s screening to say a special thank you to the crowds.
He said: ¡°I just want to thank you all again so very much for coming here tonight. It was cold out here but you all made it warm in my heart.¡±
¡®I Am Legend¡¯ sees Will play Robert Neville, the apparent lone survivor in a world dominated by the ravaging effects of a man-made virus.
Willow takes the role of Robert¡¯s daughter Marley, who appears in early scenes and then later in a series of flashback sequences.
