London, Nov 30 : American actress Billie Piper is all set for a second innings of the saucy series 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl' and has reportedly signed on to reprise her award-winning role as the feisty Rose Tyler.
American actress Billie Piper is all set for a second innings of the saucy series 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl' and has reportedly signed on to reprise her award-winning role as the feisty Rose Tyler.
Adapted from the Belle de Jour book and blog, Secret Diary of a Call Girl could also be shown in the US, which could make 'Doctor Who' actress Piper a star there.
The new series will see Belle's life get more complicated as she meets new characters.
The 25-year old actress admitted that she dreaded stripping for filming the scenes in the first series of the raunchy drama.
"There were times I wanted to run from the room in embarrassment," the Daily Mail quoted her at the time, as saying.
ITV2 has commissioned a new series of the raunchy drama, which was a ratings hit.
"As ITV2's first ever original drama, Secret Diary of a Call Girl has been a huge creative and commercial success for the channel," said ITV2 Controller Zai Bennett.
