Parents and student organisation Kashmir youth Initatitive and Jammu and kashmir students united Forum will start an online petition and a signature campaign against a telecom operator, which has put up a mobile base station very close to the school premises.

Over 100 parents of the burn hall school and students will sign a petition against the telecom agency, claiming that the electromagnetic radiation from the mobile mast could pose serious health risks to their children.
Please save our children and move telephone mast away from school that is our message to them,” a parent said When Contacted the pro burn hall said that, I am extremely upset and worried about it. We do not know the exact health risks the radiation could pose but have heard that it may even cause leukaemia.

When contacted PRO to div com , he said that the permission for the towers are given by pollution control board and Municipal commissioner .
