The former O.C. star was due to host the grand opening of the CatHouse Loungerie club at the Luxor in Las Vegas.
However, the actress had to pull out of the event following her DUI arrest last week.
And the cancellation has left the organisers very happy, for they were finding it hard to tolerate Barton's diva behaviour.
A source revealed that the 21-year-old actress' handlers were "difficult . . . They wanted a bigger jet. Mischa wanted to bring her dogs."
Another source added that Barton, who was supposed to get just 30,000 dollars from the club, wasn't pleased with the scantily clad model on the invite.
"[Her reps] wanted the invitation redone because they thought it was too risque for her image," the New York Post quoted the source, as saying.
The actress even banned Paris and Nicky Hilton from the bash.
