American actor Will Smith finds the idea of becoming a politician quite unpleasant, as he cannot bear being unpopular.

The 'Men in Black' star dismissed the idea of following in Arnold Schwarzenegger's footsteps, for, according to him, politicians are not so popular.

Smith had recently joked that he wanted to become the first black president of the United States.

However, the actor admits that he would not be able to cope with the criticism many politicians face.

"It's not a good job. When Arnold Schwarzenegger was an actor he had a 90 per cent approval rating. Now he's Governor of California and politicians immediately start at 50 per cent," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

"When you create something artistic and put it into the world, it's painful if they don't like it, or if they don't review it right, but it's a seed that can grow.

"By the time your seeds grow in politics, you've been impeached. They move you out and then realise you did something good," he added. (ANI)
