A hair extension that fell off British supermodel Kate Moss' head has sold for 805 euros on auction website eBay.

Moss' blonde hair extension had come off as she was leaving the Berlin club, where a party to celebrate the launch of her new perfume, Velvet Hour had been held.

News of the sale of the hairpiece, which had fallen during her walk on the red carpet, was reported by Bild newspaper on Friday July 4.

The incident happened when Moss, 34, was trying to avoid the paparazzi as she was returning back to the plush Hotel Adlon after her night out in the German capital last month.

The hair piece was later picked up by a photographer who then posted it on eBay, with plans of donating the proceeds to a German anti-drugs charity. (ANI)
