While in London to promote his new film 'Hancock', the Hollywood star said that he begged the England football star to coach him.
"David Beckham is one of the best 'soccer' players in the world. I begged him to teach me how to play and he promises he will. We can't wait!" the Telegraph quoted him, as saying.
In 'Hancock', Smith plays the title character, a bungling super-hero who manages to wreak havoc during his well-meaning attempts to save lives.
