Hollywood star Eva Mendes revealed that she seeks advice from a therapist to help her deal with her celebrity status.

The star had thought of quitting the industry after the movie 'Hitch' but revived her career by seeking professional advice to cope with the issues about her celebrity.

The 33-year-old actress said that she would encourage other people to also go for it.

"I see a therapist once a week or I speak to her if I'm not around," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"And I want to encourage people to go it; it doesn't mean you are out of control. I just think it's healthy way to be and even when everything is OK, I still go," she said.

"It's great to have somebody who is completely objective coming up with guidelines for you," she added. (ANI)
