Mischa Barton has been sentenced to three years of unsupervised probation after she accepted a plea deal in her DUI case.
And after Barton pleaded no contest to drunken driving, a charge of marijuana possession on the 22-year-old actress was dismissed, and another for driving with an invalid license was reduced to an infraction.
The former O.C. star has also been ordered to complete a three-month alcohol-education class and pay a fine of approximately 2,000 dollars, reports People.
Barton was not present for the hearing but her attorney, Anthony V. Salerno, was there to represent the actress.
In a statement released after the hearing, the lawyer said." The DAs were very fair in handling this case. Mischa's glad the case has been resolved."
