London, March 31 : Teen artist Miley Cyrus, star of Disney's Hannah Montana show, was conferred the favourite TV actress and the favourite singer awards at 'the 21st Annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards' event.

Johnny Depp received the favourite actor award, while Cameron Diaz bagged an inspiration award.
While addressing the audience after collecting her award, Diaz tried to encourage children to take interest in environmental causes.
"You're going to change the world. Every one of you kids is the future - go out and make the world a better place," the BBC quoted her as saying.
The actress, who previously won a Kids Choice award for burping in 2001, also said that the Wannabe prize was "the biggest honour of my entire life".
The night also saw Eddie Murphy taking home the favourite voice award for the animated movie 'Shrek the Third'.
Amongst other winners were 'American Idol', which won favourite reality show, and the 'Jonas Brothers', which was named favourite music group.
Teenage heartthrob Drake Bell bagged two prizes - favourite TV actor and favourite TV show for sitcom Drake and Josh.
Host Jack Black announced that 88 million votes had been cast this year, more than twice last year's record number of 40 million.
The event ended with Black and Orlando Bloom sitting in chairs high above the audience being drenched with what Black claimed was "27 million gallons" of green slime.
