Heath Ledger's family is embroiled in the midst of a battle for control of the late actor's estate.
Two uncles of the 'Brokeback Mountain' star have accused the actor's dad Kim Ledger for squandering money and so they want him to be dropped as executor of the estate.
"When you are talking about large sums of money like this, it should be an independent executor," New York Daily quoted Mike Ledger, Heath's uncle, as telling People magazine.
"But Kim hasn't chosen that way," he added.
Heath, who died of an accidental prescription drug overdose in January, left all of his estimated 30 million dollars fortune to his parents and sisters in a will written before he started dating actress Michelle Williams.
Williams and Ledger had a baby girl, Matilda.
After the will was made known to everybody, Kim had said that Matilda "will be taken care of," but her father's uncles aren't convinced.
They say he handled their grandfather's million-dollar estate so poorly 15 years ago he was stripped of his executor role.
